'I was always grateful that my great great grandad started taking photographs. Someone in the history books has even started counting the chairs present at the family wedding breakfast. I speculate that in attendance: George Dalrymple (Lucy's mother was already dead), Fred and Lucy (Bride and groom). Lucy’s sisters Maria and George Neill, perhaps, (who Maria may have been dating,) brother Jacob (Jack) and probably young sister Mary Ann Monteith.' George also tried out stereoscopy. Stephanie
