Lucy Eleanor ( nee Monteith ) ( 1839 - 2010). married great granddad Fred and went to live on Elmshill farm in 1859. Tennyson Cole had been on a bit of a singing jaunt as a tenor in New Zealand, arriving from Hobart, on what an Englishman to the colonies might call a trip. He soon painted in South Africa and the English Provinces, yet was restless to meet his own quite formal English objectives.
