Nana Irene Tiffen (nee Bone) at the shed where she had a copper to boil water for the copper and ringer for clothes washing and tin moulds with which to make candles. c 1915 Nana's parents had owned and ran the local pub, Patangata. Frank met the Bone daughter there. Note. Pauline (housekeeper/cook) and Allan(milkman/gardener) were live in employees from 1939 on to 1952, helping Nana.
