This is my reflective story. In part my family structured me. Their events, their inclusions kin-to-kin, the DNA, their travels, betrothals, family lives, our long relationship. The terrains of work and status; the levels of expertise and the function of finding how people move or are moved in a number of ways. I now engage upon a realm of influences... intellectually speaking. The most recent influence upon all of society has been what is now called 'the technology race', whether for defense or the security of defense. The largeness of this set of factors, pushes historical story into a spin for everyone. For, where, primarily, so as to avert conflicts, is creativity? Brewings of the AI story feed into all of this discourse. The question is the marrying of the Sciences and Humanities into alignments and accords; the capacities of the human and the non-human. Squeamishness with word uses e.g, what does the word alignment say to you? Technology is a branch of philosophy. This seems to beg the 17th Century thoughts as well as those that came before - for future thinking. Figures of speech rain everywhere like tossed snowballs. 2000 was the 150th year birthday of Charles Darwin. Ida (above) was handed a tambourine.
