The Royal Yacht Gothic in 1954 for the Royal Tour to the colonies. With black paint again on the hull it was repurposed for Shaw Saville use commercially by 1955. I was taken onboard to inspect the children's playroom when the yacht was all white.

Waterloo Hotel. Wellington. ( Built) 1953. The first ferro concrete building in the country. The whole family slept in this hotel to farewell Pris, Irene an Julia off on their one year Europe trip.
It was the year that Julia got knocked over by a car. She came back with a dent under her chin.
